I AM Yoga® 200-Hour Teacher Training

with Gurudev Shri Amritji & Nirali Lauren McCrea

In a time when yoga has become widely accessible, what often is missing is not technique, but depth. Across studios, trainings and streaming platforms, there is no shortage of poses, breathing methods, or meditation practices. Yet the innermost transformational dimension of yoga is rarely discussed, let alone transmitted.

I AM Yoga® Teacher Training offers something different.

Rooted in decades of refinement, guided by world class teachers, and grounded in authentic yogic tradition, this intensive moves beyond learning what to practice and into discovering how to practice in a way that genuinely actualizes lasting peace, clarity, and integration.

Through direct experience, you learn to access the intelligence of the body, the flow of prana, and the meditative awareness that begins to transform how you perceive and respond to life. As this inner shift unfolds, yoga naturally extends beyond the mat, positively influencing relationships, decisions, and daily experience, because you are changing from the inside out.

This is yoga teacher training and a life mastery program combined.

You will develop:

  • Greater resilience and nervous system regulation
  • Physical vitality, flexibility, strength and stamina
  • A deeper meditative experience within movement and stillness
  • The ability to access inner guidance and bodily intelligence
  • Increased clarity and emotional intelligence
  • A lifelong foundation for authentic yoga practice

Led by International Yoga Master Gurudev Shri Amritji, with over six decades of teaching worldwide, and Nirali Lauren McCrea, Senior Faculty and long-term direct student, this program carries forward a living tradition of yoga. Drawing from the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, the Hatha Yoga Pradipika, and the unique principles of I AM Yoga®, this training bridges ancient wisdom with modern understanding, creating a path that is both authentic and deeply relevant to our contemporary lives.

This approach transforms intellectual understanding into direct experiential knowledge that continues to deepen long after the training concludes.

Each Module Includes

  • Discourse and Q&A with Gurudev Shri Amritji
  • Energetic Transmission and Meditation
  • Guided Practices: All levels I AM Yoga®, I AM Yoga Nidra™ and I AM Yoga Therapy™
  • In-Depth Teachings and group discussion with Nirali

June 10-14, 2026 | Awakening the Inner Experience of Yoga

This retreat focuses on cultivating your personal experience and understanding of yoga. Together, we explore meditation, breath, alignment for your unique body, and the deeper purpose behind each aspect of practice. As your awareness develops, you begin to understand not only how to practice on the mat, but how these principles naturally extend into daily life, supporting greater clarity, resilience, and integration.

September 23-27, 2026 | The Eight Limbs of Yoga

This retreat is an exploration of Patanjali’s Eight Limbs of Yoga alongside the Seven Principles of I AM Yoga®. Through scripture, experiential practice, and guided reflection, you will discover how the philosophical foundations of yoga come alive in your own experience. Rather than studying these teachings as concepts, you will learn how to experience them directly, allowing yoga to become a living process that continues to unfold in both practice and life.

November 12-15, 2026 | Being a Presence

This certification intensive focuses on refining your ability to share what you have been practicing. You will develop the capacity to teach with clarity, authenticity, and presence, while learning how to adapt the tools of I AM Yoga® for the populations you feel called to serve. Together, we explore voice, presence, lesson planning, and thematic integration, allowing you to bring together everything you have learned into a cohesive and meaningful teaching approach.

Self-Paced Learning | Anatomy & Asana

You will complete 30 hours of anatomy training organized by body region and delivered in digestible modules ranging from 30 to 90 minutes. This format supports long term integration rather than short term memorization.

You will complete 10 hours of training modules designed to support your visibility as a teacher through marketing.

In addition, you will study the I AM Yoga® sequence in depth, refining your personal practice while developing the confidence and understanding needed to guide others after graduation.

This training is intentionally structured as a progressive journey, beginning with your own experience, deepening through philosophical and experiential understanding, and culminating in the ability to share these teachings with clarity and authenticity.

At its heart

This training is designed to support your own life first. As you learn to work with awareness, breath, and energy, you begin to understand your reactions, your stress patterns, and the ways you habitually move through challenge and change. Instead of relying on effort alone, you develop the capacity to pause, listen, and respond from greater clarity. This creates resilience, steadiness, and a deeper sense of integration that naturally begins to influence your relationships, your work, and the way you move through daily life.

As this inner stability develops, something else begins to emerge. You are not only practicing for yourself, you are developing a distinguishable presence and understanding that allows you to support others. In a time when many people are experiencing stress, uncertainty, and disconnection, the ability to remain grounded, clear, and compassionate is more necessary than ever. This training and the I AM Yoga® system cultivates those qualities within you.

For those who feel called to teach, this program provides a strong and authentic foundation to share yoga with integrity and depth. You learn not only how to guide postures, but how to hold space, how to recognize the needs of different students, and how to support others in accessing their own inner knowing. Teaching then becomes less about performing techniques and more about transmitting stability, clarity, and presence.

In this way, the training becomes both personal and collective. It supports your own growth and wellbeing, while also preparing you to give back in meaningful ways. As you deepen your own experience, you naturally become a source of steadiness for others, helping bring the timeless and practical wisdom of yoga into a world that needs it now more than ever.

Lead Teachers

Gurudev Shri Amritji
Gurudev Shri Amritji is the first disciple to bring the sacred teachings of the Lord Lakulish (Shiva) and Kripalu Lineage to the West in 1960. Gurudev was personally empowered to give shaktipat by his Guru Swami Shri Kripalvanada. In 1970 Gurudev experienced a spontaneous awakening of the Soul Being Presence that I AM. This was reinforced by a three month meditation retreat in silence and seclusion. He emerged as a spiritual master embodying the rare capacity to transmit profound healing and transformative prana Shakti through energetic transmission. He discovered the body is the book of secrets; it is the temple of prana Shakti, and heart is the center of Shiva consciousness. Gurudev is repeatedly honored by prestigious organizations and world-renowned authorities in the East and West.
