The Inner Dimension of Yoga – I AM Yoga® Immersion Retreat

With Gurudev Shri Amritji and Nirali Lauren McCrea

June 10 - 14, 2026

The Inner Dimension of Yoga Retreat

Dismantle Stress, Restore Vitality, and Transform the Way You Experience Life

Meals Included

You may be resting, slowing down, or even taking time away, yet something in your system does not fully settle. Your body can still carry tension, your mind can remain active, and there can be a subtle sense of pressure that does not fully release.

Over time, this becomes familiar. Stress is no longer something that comes and goes, it begins to shape how you think, feel, and respond to life.

You likely already know what supports you. You may have tried to create a routine, to practice consistently, to take better care of yourself, yet it does not always hold. What begins with intention fades, and the same patterns return.

This is not a failure of discipline. What you cannot sustain weakens because it depends on willpower, which fluctuates with stress, sleep, and how overloaded your system is.

Gurudev Shri Amritji has taught for decades that “company is stronger than willpower.”

This is the purpose of the Inner Dimension of Yoga Retreat, to place you in an environment where your system can begin to release what it has been holding and return to a more balanced state.

A Different Way to Work With Your System

This June, join us in the Ocala National Forest for an in-person immersion where you will experience a direct and embodied approach to working with stress, energy, and the way you experience life through I AM Yoga®.

This is not about adding more techniques. It is about understanding how your system works, and learning how to work with it in a way that allows stress to release at its root, rather than accumulate over time.

Study Directly with Gurudev Shri Amritji

This is a rare opportunity to spend time in daily contact with Gurudev Shri Amritji.

Through darshan, discourse, and transmission, the teachings are not only understood intellectually, they are experienced directly.

In the stillness of the Ocala National Forest, removed from constant stimulation, the environment itself supports a shift out of habitual patterns and into a more balanced state.

How the Process Works

Engage: Deliberate Action (Asana)

Most stress is not just coming from what you face, it is coming from the way your system holds tension and how you habitually face and react to day-to-day demands.

It is typical to respond to pressure with force, but quite often you do not realize that it is disproportionate to what is needed, resulting in energy loss and deeper tension after the fact. As this pattern repeats, the body adapts by holding more and recovering less, creating a cycle where stress accumulates faster than it can be released.

Through the I AM Yoga® approach to asana, you begin to recognize and change this pattern directly.

Movement becomes a way to channel excess energy rather than reinforce it. Tension begins to release instead of accumulate, and energy is directed consciously rather than being driven by habit.

As this shift takes place, the body begins to let go of what it has been holding, and the nervous system starts to regain its natural capacity to respond and recover.

  • Build strength and flexibility without excess strain
  • Release deep-seated tension and holding patterns
  • Restore your nervous system’s ability to recover from stress

Release: Dynamic Stillness (Meditation)

Relaxation does not guarantee restoration.

Even when the body is at rest, the nervous system can remain active, holding residual tension, mental activity, or a subtle alertness that prevents true recovery.

After deliberate action, you are guided into a different kind of letting go, one that allows the body’s natural intelligence to move in self-balancing, self-regulating ways.

As excess tension begins to clear, the body no longer carries the same residual load. A deeper level of relaxation emerges, one that is not created through effort, but revealed as holding dissolves.

From this state, meditation is no longer something you try to achieve. It begins to unfold naturally.

The body becomes more at ease, the mind quiets on its own, and the nervous system relearns how to shift between engagement and rest without remaining stuck in either.

  • Clear accumulated stress at its root
  • Reduce mental activity, allowing clarity and insight to emerge
  • Experience deep physical restoration and renewed vitality
  • Improve the quality and depth of sleep

Apply: Integrative Wisdom

What you experience in life is not shaped by circumstances alone.

Each moment is filtered through underlying beliefs, past experiences, and emotional memory, which arise alongside what is happening and influence how you perceive it.

This is why changing external conditions does not always resolve internal tension.

Through the teachings of Gurudev Shri Amritji, and the clarity that emerges through practice, you begin to see the root of irritation and suffering more directly.

As this becomes clear, your attention naturally shifts. Instead of trying to change what is outside to feel differently inside, you begin to recognize and work with what is arising within you.

From there, perception changes. You are able to see situations more clearly, respond more effectively, and act without the same reactive patterns shaping your experience.

  • Identify the underlying causes of stress and irritation
  • Relate to people and situations with greater clarity and effectiveness
  • Access a deeper sense of stability and inner alignment

Lead Teachers

Gurudev Shri Amritji
Gurudev Shri Amritji is the first disciple to bring the sacred teachings of the Lord Lakulish (Shiva) and Kripalu Lineage to the West in 1960. Gurudev was personally empowered to give shaktipat by his Guru Swami Shri Kripalvanada. In 1970 Gurudev experienced a spontaneous awakening of the Soul Being Presence that I AM. This was reinforced by a three month meditation retreat in silence and seclusion. He emerged as a spiritual master embodying the rare capacity to transmit profound healing and transformative prana Shakti through energetic transmission. He discovered the body is the book of secrets; it is the temple of prana Shakti, and heart is the center of Shiva consciousness. Gurudev is repeatedly honored by prestigious organizations and world-renowned authorities in the East and West.
