The Lineage of Light Initiation with Amritji, Chandrakant and Nirali

This initiation offers the opportunity to awaken the presence of the God and Guru. This program is designed to provide you the experience of a profound internal shift, bringing you closer to the Lineage and the Light of Consciousness within.

Initiations include:
• Mantra: Passed down from Dadaji, to Bapuji, to Gurudev, to you
• Name: This program optionally offers the opportunity to receive a Sanskrit name from Gurudev. This is an opportunity to experience a new way of seeing yourself and the world around you.

Prerequisite: Any one of the following: Spiritual Lifestyle Training,  Sadhana of Prana, Prana Awakening, or any core training including Level 1 Teacher Training, Yoga Nidra Professional Training, Meditation in Motion Training or Yoga Therapy Training.

Guru Disciple Relationship:
The source of love comes from the Guru within. When you seek love from an external resources, you move away from the source. The external Guru points you toward your own inner knowing and source and provides you the map of the journey within. The external Guru can show you how you can navigate through the karmic barriers and boundaries you encounter in your love life, family life, work life and social life.

You will be given tools to work through such fears and difficulties. You will know the secret of how to stay deeply connected to the protection, guidance and support of the Guru.

When the Guru initiates a disciple, he does not replace the inner Guru with the external Guru. It is the commitment to the practice of the Guru’s teachings that actualizes the Presence of the Guru within. The initiation represents the commitment of a disciple to follow the teachings, guidance, and the map that the Guru gives the disciple to go to the inner Guru or God within.

This initiation focuses on changing your life from within. You are taking back the charge of your life.

When you initiate the inner journey of unifying experience of God, Guru, Love, you experience freedom from the karmic wounds you experienced in the past. The reason I teach is to empower disciples by showing them how to encounter their karma consciously as they journey to the inner Guru.

A Lineage of Light
I AM Yoga® practices are the natural evolution of ancient yogic techiques passed down from the ancient Lord Lakulish (Shiva) lineage to Swami Kripalu, and to Gurudev Shri Amritji. The practices of I AM Yoga® developed by Gurudev Shri Amritji and Kamini Devi are based on the ancient secrets of yoga, which they received directly from Swami Shri Kripalvanandji (Kripalu).

Dr. David Frawley, (Padma Bhushan) author of 30 books on Yoga, Ayurveda and Indian culture stated: “Yogi Desai revived the ancient teachings of the millennial old Shaivite Yoga, rooted in the Lakulish tradition…(He) made these secret teachings once more alive and relevant to the entire world. He has left an indelible influence on modern Yoga. . . .”

Swami Kripalu, lovingly known as Bapuji, was one of the rare realized, Indian Saints of the 20th Century. Bapuji’s life is an amazing story of unwavering devotion, marked by 12 years of silence and seclusion, 30 years of meditation for 10 hours a day.

Gurudev Shri Amritji was just 16 years old when he first met Bapuji and has followed his teachings ever since. Although Amritji moved to the U.S. in 1960, he and his beloved Gurudev Bapuji stayed in touch through a series of letters (published in the book Letters from Swami Kripalu). The special bond of love they shared brought Bapuji to America in the mid-1970s. For over four years, Bapuji blessed thousands in the U.S. with his loving presence.
