If you’d like to stay on campus, we have 11 private or shared rooms available directly on-site for reservation. These prices reflect the style of your room choice and are all inclusive with accommodations for two nights, the retreat, and six buffet-style vegetarian meals.
This retreat is unique because it will be much smaller than other initiation opportunities we’ve held in the past and is limited to 20 participants. The small gathering allows for direct connection with Gurudev, energetic sadhana, the privacy of our reflective and serene ashram where Gurudev dwells, vibrant healthy meals and a close community of sincere seekers.
This is a rare occasion to practice, study and receive energetic transmission directly from Gurudev Shri Amritji, a living yoga mystic.
This initiation will invite you to awaken the timeless presence of God or Guru within. You will receive the Guru mantra. You will be connecting and invoking the energetic non-mental presence of masters as invisible guides to provide protection and guidance in your life and your journey within. In the kundalini [tantric] lineage of Lord Lakulish Shiva is the Guru of Swami Kripalu and Gurudev received the direct energetic initiation from Swami Kripalu. You will receive it directly from Gurudev Shri Amritji.
Whenever you seek acceptance, love, appreciation from other or external resources you are disconnected from the source of love within. Your search is strongly affected by your karmic pre-programmed memory stress energy blocks. Swami Kripalu, lovingly known as Bapuji, was one of the rare realized, Indian Saints of the 20th Century. Bapuji’s life is an amazing story of unwavering devotion, marked by 12 years of silence and seclusion, 30 years of meditation for 10 hours a day.
Gurudev Shri Amritji was just 16 years old when he first met Bapuji and has followed his teachings ever since. Although Amritji moved to the U.S. in 1960, he and his beloved Gurudev Bapuji stayed in touch through a series of letters (published in the book Letters from Swami Kripalu). The special bond of love they shared brought Bapuji to America in the mid-1970s. For over four years, Bapuji blessed thousands in the U.S. with his loving presence.

Lead Teachers
Gurudev Shri Amritji is the first disciple to bring the sacred teachings of the Lord Lakulish (Shiva) and Kripalu Lineage to the West in 1960. Yogacharya, Meditation in Motion™ Lead Revealer Chandrakant is a senior teacher and seminar leader at the Amrit Yoga Institute in Salt Springs, Florida. He prepares, presents and leads professional trainings both nationally and overseas in the Integrated Amrit Method, Amrit Yoga, Amrit Yoga Nidra and the Quantum Breath Meditation, as well as a variety of other yoga and stress-reduction based programs. For the last eight years, Chandrakant has been instrumental in developing and presenting programs for the Amrit Yoga Institute. As a student and practitioner of yoga and meditation with Yogi Amrit Desai for almost forty years, his experience has given him a solid foundation for implementing programs that nurture and encourage positive changes in behavior and understanding through direct perception. Named Mahacharya in 2012 and formally appointed a lineage carrier by Gurudev Shri Amritji in 2018, Malay is an authentic ambassador of compassion, service and purpose. As a heart-forward visionary and yogi, Malay has dedicated his life to collecting and preserving the teachings, historical footage and traditions of the Lakulish-Kripalu-Amrit lineage that otherwise could have been diluted or lost through the inevitable consequences of time. Having spent decades restoring and archiving such important works, his primary focus today is to ensure that these teachings become and remain accessible to practitioners worldwide, for generations to come.
