The Inner Dimension of Yoga – I AM Yoga® Immersion Retreat

With Gurudev Shri Amritji and Nirali Lauren McCrea

June 10 - 14, 2026

The Inner Dimension of Yoga Retreat

Tools to Dismantle Stress, Increase Vitality and Re-Shape Your Life

Meals Included

This June, join us for an in-person immersion in the Ocala National Forest, where you will experience a direct and embodied approach to working with stress, energy, and the way you experience life through I AM Yoga®.

Engage: Deliberate Action (Asana)

Most stress is not just coming from what you face, it is coming from the way your system holds tension and how you habitually face and react to day-to-day demands. It is typical to respond to pressure with force, but quite often you do not realize that it is disproportionate to what is needed, resulting in energy loss and deeper tension after the fact. Over time, this pattern conditions the body to stay in a state of excess effort, where energy is continuously spent and not fully recovered.

Through the I AM Yoga® approach to asana, you learn how to change how you meet and respond to demand, using movement as a way to channel excess energy. As this happens, tension starts to move rather than accumulate, allowing energy to be directed consciously and proportionately instead of being driven by it. This immediately diffuses accumulated stress and allows the body to process and release what it was holding.

  • Naturally build strength and improve flexibility
  • Learn how to release deep-seated tension and holding patterns
  • Restore your nervous system’s capacity to recover from stress

Release: Dynamic Stillness (Meditation)

Rest does not always mean your nervous system has actually reset.

After dynamic action, you learn how to let go in a way that frees the natural intelligence of the body to move in self-balancing, self-regulating ways that restore balance and support the nervous system.

Excess tension begins to clear and your body no longer carries the same residual holding. A visceral sense of relaxation that was previously unavailable emerges, which lays the foundation for effortless access into profound meditative depths, as well as improved sleep. The body is more relaxed, the mind is calm, and the nervous system is retraining to balance between engagement and rest, instead of lingering in a state of alertness even after demand has passed.

  • Energy clearing
  • Reduced mental activity that reveals clarity and insight
  • Deep physical rejuvenation and vitality
  • Improved sleep

Apply: Integrative Wisdom

You may realize that your experience of life is not being created by circumstances alone. Hidden within each one of us are underlying beliefs, unresolved experiences, and core memories that arise in tandem with every event that presents itself. The imprint of these experiences is superimposed onto your perception.

Through the wisdom of Gurudev Shri Amritji’s teachings and the clarity that emerges after practicing the techniques of I AM Yoga®, you begin to identify the invisible roots of irritation and suffering. Once you see that the visible weeds are a result these invisible seeds, you are less driven to change what is outside to feel differently inside. Instead, you begin to work in the reverse direction, which fosters clarity, clear seeing, and a resounding knowing of how to see and accept a situation for what it is, while acting skillfully in response to co-create what’s next.

  • Identify the root cause of your suffering and irritation
  • Learn how to relate to people and the world differently and more effectively
  • Actualize your potential

All of this unfolds within the mystical dimension of yoga you are already wired for, where your inborn potential comes to life, surrounded by the stillness of the Ocala National Forest. In the presence of Gurudev Shri Amritji, whose decades of teaching continue to guide students into direct experience, this immersion offers an opportunity to not only understand these principles, but to live them.

Lead Teachers

Gurudev Shri Amritji
Gurudev Shri Amritji is the first disciple to bring the sacred teachings of the Lord Lakulish (Shiva) and Kripalu Lineage to the West in 1960. Gurudev was personally empowered to give shaktipat by his Guru Swami Shri Kripalvanada. In 1970 Gurudev experienced a spontaneous awakening of the Soul Being Presence that I AM. This was reinforced by a three month meditation retreat in silence and seclusion. He emerged as a spiritual master embodying the rare capacity to transmit profound healing and transformative prana Shakti through energetic transmission. He discovered the body is the book of secrets; it is the temple of prana Shakti, and heart is the center of Shiva consciousness. Gurudev is repeatedly honored by prestigious organizations and world-renowned authorities in the East and West.
