What is included in the Amrit Yoga Institute's 500-Hour Yoga Alliance Training?
Our 500-Hour training consists of I AM Yoga, I AM Advanced Yoga and I AM Yoga Nidra Professional Training.
Do I need to do all three parts?
To become a 500-Hour Yoga Alliance certified teacher, you need to complete all three parts.
Do I need to complete all three parts in a particular order?
You need to complete the I AM Yoga training before the I AM Yoga Advanced Training, and the scheduled dates in 2023 ensure that. You can complete the I AM Yoga Nidra at your own at any time before December 31, 2023. We recommend focusing on one course module at a time.
What do I need to do to prepare once I've registered?
Once you register, you will receive a welcome letter and instructions. For I AM Yoga and Yoga Nidra training, we have recommended reading and encourage registered students to practice I AM Yoga and I AM Yoga Nidra with suggested materials.
When can I become registered with the Yoga Alliance?
You can register with Yoga Alliance as a 200-Hour teacher as soon as you graduate from the I AM Yoga Training and as a 500-Hour teacher as soon as you complete I AM Yoga, I AM Yoga Advanced and I AM Yoga Nidra training.
How long will Yoga Alliance recognize online education?
For Yoga Alliance recognition in 2023, you must complete your coursework before December 31, 2023.
What will my schedule be like?
I AM Yoga and I AM Yoga Advanced are offered live, online through zoom over select weekends in 2023 and incorporate self-study assignments, personal practice and partner work. Your course load is balanced with live classroom hours and weekly homework assignments designed for your success. I AM Yoga Nidra is self-paced with a live, personalized mentorship component to help keep you on track, on your time.
