Instructor Mimi Pribble Scott began the practice of yoga in 1970. In the early 1980’s she had an encounter at Kripalu with Yogi Amrit Desai that changed her life. Gurudev taught her that “You are the creator. Whatever you think, that is what you create, and that is what you become.” And so she left the competition of the corporate fast lane, earned her first certification in bodywork in 1988, and national certification in 1994. Still practicing bodywork therapy and energetic healing, Mimi’s Amrit yoga classes include all levels. A theme of her classes, which she also learned from Gurudev, is living a joyful, playful life.
Jan, a student says, “Amrit Yoga provided me a safe place of peace from fears, pain, and the unknown; awakening inner strength to attend to my life.”
Julia, another student, says, “Yoga with Mimi Scott has been a life-changing positive happening for me. In my outlook on life in general I have a greater awareness of all aspects of my internal self and those around me. I feel healed.”
In this joyful, playful life, Mimi also receives instruction from Redby R.R. Razzmatazz, who is a Standard Poodle and a Dogi Master. He accepts himself exactly as he is and lives in the moment, drops into complete relaxation in an instant, and always allows unconditional love to flow though him. They invite you to join them.
