Continuing Education Credits (CECs)

In order to receive credits, participants must notify the Amrit Yoga Institute office of their intention to earn CE hours and complete the required paperwork when they arrive on campus for a program.

through the National Board for Certified Counselors, Inc. & Affiliates (NBCC) for:

• Yoga Nidra Weekend Programs (12 contact hours)
• Yoga Nidra 5-Day Intensives (25 contact hours)
• Yoga Nidra Professional Training (50 contact hours)

The Amrit Yoga Institute is an NBCC Approved Continuing Education Provider (ACEP) #6171, and may offer NBCC approved clock hours for events that meet NBCC requirements. The ACEP solely is responsible for all aspects of the program.

Available to: Massage Therapists & Bodyworkers
through the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB) for: self care/personal use only. The following programs have been approved.

• Amrit Yoga Teacher Training, Level I Part A only (50 contact hours)
• Amrit Yoga Teacher Training, Level II Part A only (50 contact hours)
• Yoga Nidra Weekend Programs (12 contact hours)
• Yoga Nidra 5-Day Intensives (25 contact hours)
• Yoga Nidra Professional Training Part A only (25 contact hours)

Amrit Yoga Institute is approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) as a continuing education Approved Provider #450048-00. Courses offering approved Continuing Education hours are for personal self-care only.

Yoga Alliance Certification

• Our Level I Amrit Yoga Teacher Training fulfills Yoga Alliance Requirements as 200 hr. RYT
• Yoga Nidra Professional Training provides 90 contact hours towards certification as a 500-hour RYT with the Yoga Alliance. The remaining requirements can be fulfilled by taking our Level II Teacher Training to be offered in 2010.

Yoga Alliance Continuing Education

• In every three year period the yoga alliance requires that RYT 200 and 500 teach a minimum of 45 classroom hours of yoga and accumulate 30 ceu’s; 10 of which much be direct contact with a qualified yoga instructor. • Almost all courses at the Amrit Yoga Institute can be used to acquire CE hours for Yoga Alliance continuing education requirements.
